Seitan flour can be used to make a seitan - a fantastic meat replacement that is vegan friendly and very versatile just like vital wheat gluten. This flour can be prepared in a number of ways for a texture that resembles meat products such as sausages, burgers and wellingtons. It becomes very stretchy and can be manipulated in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Ways to use seitan flour
- Try making vegan seitan wellington for a family and friends
- Vegan stuffed seitan roulade makes a fantastic centrepiece for a dinner party
- Vegan BBQ seitan ribs are great in the summer
- Vegan sausages are easy to make and can be served with vegetables or in a bun!
- You can also use it to make a vegan ‘kebab’ meat and serve in pitta
Note: This product is almost pure gluten therefore anyone with a gluten intolerance should avoid this product.
